After putting ink on paper the Antonio Conceição will have his baptism of fire with the Indomitable Lions this weekend as the Lions play Tunisia in friendly. Players called up for the Saturday match have started arriving the Lions base in Tunis.
12 players arrived the Lions Ramada hotel yesterday to start training. The players include Félix Eboa Eboa, Arnaud Djoum, Pierre Kunde Malong, Edgar Salli, Omossola Simon, Ngadeu Ngadjui, Moumi Ngamaleu, Fabrice Ondoua, Christian Bassogog, Jeando Fuchs, Fai Collins and André Onana.
According to sources in Tunis the rest of the team is expected today. Antonio Conceição and his staff are equally already in the Tunisian city.
Georges Mandjeck of Sparta Prague and Stephane Bahokenof Angers are not available due to injuries. As well as the participation of Choupo-Moting remains uncertain.
It is worth noting that, this is going to be the Indomitable Lions first outing since their debacle in the last AFCON that place in Egypt. The Lions who were reigning champions were eliminated in the 1/8 final by Super Eagles of Nigeria 3-2. The early exit led to the sacking of Dutch duo Clarence Seerdorf and Patrick Kluivert.
