Last year’s sixth man of the year, Pascal Siakam is having a wonderful start of season with Toronto Raptors franchise. The forward helped his franchise register their second victory in the just started NBA 2019/2020. The NBA Playoffs reigning champions despite losing Kawhi Leonard who signed with Los Angeles Clippers, can count on the Cameroonian player.
With 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, Siakam helped the Raptors overcome the Chicago Bulls (108-84). The Cameroonian’s input for the raptors since the start of the season has been very laudable. It is worth mentioning, that in the Raptors first fixture of the NBA season which was equally the first encounter of the NBA season, Siakam, scored 34 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and distributed 5 assists to help Toronto beat the New Orleans Pelicans.
Siakam’s compatriot Joel Embiid with Philadelphia 76ers, missed their second encounter Detroit Pistons. Joel Embiid absent due to an injury did not play. The duration of the Embiid’s injury was not communicated. However, Philadelphia urged the Pistons (117-111). Philadelphia will need a strong Joel Embiid this year inoreder to make their increase their chances of going further in the Playoffs. In Philadelphia’s first match against the Boston Celtics, Embiid scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
