Ganago started the match on the bench but was fortunate to come for injured Youcef Atal on the 29th minute. The former Brasseries football Academy youth player joint the goal scoring festival on the 59th minute as Nice were already two goals ahead. His goal made it three nil for the team of Patrick Vieira. 15 minutes left, Metz pulled one back through Ibrahima Niane, but Ganago in a good day made sure he restored Nice lead just a minute later when he assisted Melo who had earlier delivered a good cross for the Cameroonian’s goal for the 4th goal of Nice. The score stayed at 4-1 for Nice till full time.
Ganago has three goals in the French Ligue 1 and his club’s 16 matches so far. Nice currently occupies the 12th spot with 23 points from 17 games ahead of a trip to Brest on Saturday which may see him face his international colleague, Jean Charles Castelleto.
