Home base Lions head coach Clement Arroga expressed optimism after the draw last Monday. The gaffer said his team is ready to take up the challenge of winning the CHAN on home soil.
Participating in pre-tournament in Congo, Mr Arroga after knowing the Lions adversaries in the April competition sounded confident.
The boys of Clement Arroga had a training session last Tuesday as they prepare for their last match against Congo tomorrow. The lions beat DR Congo last Sunday one nil in the first match in the competition. The Lions goal was netted by Eding Sport of Lekie’s striker Valentin Beo Bao.
Coach Arroga will release his final list of 23 players retained for the CHAN after the pre-tournament.
Knowing their opponents, the Lions now know what lies ahead of them in April, 2020.
