After two years away from Europe former Indomitable Lions striker Benjamin Moukandjo has signed with Ligue 2 club RC Lens. Winner of the AFCON 2017 with the Indomitable Lions, Benjamin Moukandjo after a brilliant season with Lorient were he finished the season netting 13 goals, surprisingly signed with Chineses club Jiangsu Suning in 2017.
The 30-year old striker joins the gold and blood club on a free transfer after agreeing a mutual termination of contract with Jiangsu Suning. Benjamin Moukandjo started his international career with Stade Rennais before playing for respectively for Nimes Olympiques, AS Monaco, AS Nancy Lorraine before Lorient.
Moukandjo made played in several inferior categories with the Indomitable Lions but made his debut with the senior team in 2011 in a AFCON qualification match Cameroon versus Senegal. He was voted Man of the Match in the final against Egypt as Cameroon beat the Pharaohs to lift their fifth Continental title.
Cameroonian Jeando Fuchs has been loaned to Isreali Premier League club Maccabi Haifa. The midfielder made his debut with the Indomitable Lions in a friendly against Brazil in 2018. Fuchs played for the French National team in the inferior categories before choosing his fatherland.
