Cameroon striker Nchout Njoya Ajara has dedicated Tuesday’s victory against Ivory Coast to victims of the Gouache landslide in Bafoussam.
To match words to actions, the lethal striker has decided to offer her match bonus to the survivors as her own means to show compassion.
“We played against Ivory Coast with victims of the Gouache landslide in our thoughts. In addition to the victory which I also dedicate to my brothers, sisters and parents, I equally offer my (match) bonus against Cote d’Ivoire to console you,” Ajara said.
The striker who scored an 86-minute penalty to book a clash with Zambia in the next round, Nchout Njoya Ajara dedicated the win to the survivors of the Gouache landslide.
