Media accreditations for the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) are open. The announcement was made last Wednesday by the Confederation of African Football communication department. The accreditation process will run up till March 20, 2020.
The different media outlets interested in covering the three football competitions can apply through CAF’s media channel.
CAF’s media channel is open to all but accessibility to it in no way means you have been granted accreditation for the tournament. Again, confirmation of accreditation will not be based be on first-come, first serve basis. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information in due course.
It is worth noting that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is not responsible for securing visas to Cameroon for international media men and women.

One month and some days to the kick-off of the sixth edition of the CHAN, pre-tournaments events are is already gathering momentum. This is the first time is hosting the tournament and Cameroon homebased Lions have never lifted the trophy in their four participations. The best performance in the competition has been two quarter-finals finishes.
The 2020 African Nations Championship will be played in three cities, (Yaounde, Douala and Limbe). The competition will run from April 4-25, 2020.
