Pascal is definitely having the best start season of his young NBA career. The forward of the Toronto Raptors is averaging 28 points per match since the 2019/2020 NBA started. Siakam once led his franchise to victory last nights against the Detroit Pistons (113-125). The 25 year-old Cameroonian scored 30 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and gave 5 assists in a total of 30 minutes. Pascal Siakam is perfectly assuming the new role of franchise player since the departure of Kawhi Leonard with whom they won the NBA Playoffs last year.
Another Cameroonian who is also in fine form is Joel Embiid. The Philadelphia 76ers big man finished best scorer of his franchise with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in their Philadelphia’s victory against Minnesota Timberwolves (96-117). However, Embiid did not finish the match. He was ejected in the third quarter for fighting with Karl-Anthony Towns. The Philadelphia 76ers are yet to be beaten in the NBA this season.
